Member Training

PMA’s Training and Education Committee, chaired by Ron Adams, vice president of human
resources, Vibro/Dynamics Corp., met at PMA Headquarters on Wednesday, January 24. The committee judged applications for the A.R. Hedberg Training & Education Award and the new Clips & Clamps Industries Educational Institution Award for PMA’s 2001 Awards of Excellence. Winners in each of PMA’s award categories will be announced at a ceremony at MAX INTERNATIONAL in Cleveland’s I-X Center on Sunday, May 6, prior to the show’s opening.

         The committee also finalized plans for Student Day at MAX INTERNATIONAL on Thursday, May 10. Committee members will serve as hosts to students, teachers and school administrators attending the show. They will participate in the orientation presentation and will be available to answer questions about the show and careers in the industry.
